A combination of creative flair and organised structure, their different skill sets and personality traits are complementary, making them the ideal team to deliver life’s most memorable moments.

CO-FOUNDER & STYLING

Kerrith Coleman

As Co-founder and Creative Director of Boutique Petit, Kerrith is the visionary eye behind the brand’s distinctive style. With more than a decade of experience in the events industry, she has built a reputation for transforming celebrations into thoughtfully curated experiences that feel both timeless and on-trend.

Her design philosophy blends meticulous attention to detail with an intuitive sense for what feels fresh and unexpected. From concept to execution, Kerrith has a gift for translating stories into memorable environments that leave a lasting impression. She thrives in the fast pace of event days, orchestrating the many moving parts with calm confidence and creative flair.

Beyond events, Kerrith finds balance in wellness rituals and time outdoors. Long walks through the forest or along the beach with her dog, Miso, are her favourite way to recharge. She also loves exploring Cape Town’s food scene, travelling to new places for inspiration, and finding beauty in design and everyday details, passions that continually fuel her creativity and enrich the experiences she creates for her clients.

Simone Gerber

As Co-founder of Boutique Petit, Simone is the organisational backbone of the brand, blending creativity with precision. With a strong background in client relations, event coordination, and entertainment bookings, she ensures every celebration flows seamlessly from concept to completion. Known as the team’s “spreadsheet expert,” she thrives on streamlining processes, managing details with finesse, and interpreting briefs to craft events that are thoughtful, memorable, and beautifully executed.

Passionate about genuine connection, Simone believes the best celebrations come from truly listening and collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life. Her calm presence and logistical expertise create the perfect balance to the brand’s creative flair.

Outside of planning, you’ll find Simone strolling the prom with a coffee in hand, discovering new cafés, and getting lost in a good book. She also loves a good podcast or series binge, quality time with friends and family, and sunsets over sunrises, all while embracing a healthy and balanced lifestyle that keeps her energised and inspired.

Our Studio

Being in the events industry means we spend a lot of time out and about meeting clients, scouting venues, and checking in with suppliers. But when we’re not on the road or setting up celebrations, you’ll find us plotting and planning our upcoming projects at our Woodstock studio. This is our admin hub and where we do some of our best brainstorming.
