Being in the events industry means we spend a lot of time out and about meeting clients, scouting venues, and checking in with suppliers. But when we’re not on the road or setting up celebrations, you’ll find us plotting and planning our upcoming projects at our Woodstock studio. At Boutique Petit we believe in joyful abundance. We believe in celebrating all of life’s milestones no matter how big or small. But we also understand that the most important days of your life are unique to you, so when it comes to celebrating them a one-size-fits-all approach is out of the question.

By working collaboratively with our clients, we’re able to create bespoke, elevated experiences shaped around your vision. Attention to detail is key in everything we do from conceptualisation to implementation which is why we only take on a limited number of events each season. This allows us to tailor our service to each client’s needs, ensuring that even the smallest detail is seamlessly executed.

With over ten years of industry experience behind us and cultivated relationships with South Africa’s most highly rated vendors and suppliers, we’ve become known for creating Pinterest-worthy parties that go beyond just looking pretty in pictures. We pride ourselves on creating a flawless production of your special day, from baby showers and gender reveals, birthday celebrations to  weddings.

Best-friends-turned-business-partners, Kerrith Coleman and Simone Gerber are the ying to each other’s yang. A combination of creative flair and organised structure, their different skill sets and personality traits are complementary, making them the ideal team to deliver life’s most memorable moments.

CO-FOUNDER & STYLING

Kerrith Coleman

Boutique Petit founder and co-owner, Kerrith, has been honing her craft in the events industry for over ten years and is the visual mastermind in the team. When it comes to design, styling and event setup she has a meticulous eye for detail. Kerrith also keeps a close eye on industry trends which means clients are always presented with up-to-date suggestions, keeping their celebration fresh and unique. She does her best work in environments that are busy and feels energised when surrounded by a hive of activity – ideal for on-the-day setup when there are usually a lot of moving parts that need to be managed and the pressure is on.

When she’s not bringing designs to life, you’ll find Kerrith watching reruns of Friends episodes, exploring restaurants in Cape Town, taking a walk along the beach or travelling a bit further out when restrictions allow.

Simone Gerber

Co-owner, Simone is Boutique Petit’s resident spreadsheet expert and runs a tight ship handling the logistics and operations side of things. Her background in client relations and event and entertainment bookings means she knows exactly how to streamline processes while developing meaningful connections with clients. A highly skilled event conceptualiser, Simone loves the challenge of interpreting detailed briefs and can often be found taking a quiet moment to immerse herself in one of her to-do lists.

In her spare time, she’s likely cooking up a storm while singing along to a country playlist, bingeing a new series or spending time with her family and pups.
