When it comes to creating unforgettable celebrations, every detail matters. For this intimate and elegant birthday brunch at La Motte Wine Estate in the Cape Winelands, we at Boutique Petit curated a day filled with vibrant florals, thoughtful touches, and an atmosphere of pure joy.

From the first welcome to the last toast, our goal was to design an event that felt both luxurious and personal, a true reflection of our client’s style and the serene beauty of La Motte.

The Vision

The brief was simple: create a celebration that exudes sophistication, warmth, and a touch of playfulness. With the iconic La Motte gardens and architecture as our backdrop, we embraced a colour palette of blush pink, coral, various pastels and fresh whites, layered with bold floral textures and romantic design elements.

Décor & Styling Highlights

A Grand Floral Welcome
Guests were greeted by a statement floral installation featuring soft blush tones, pops of coral, and cascading blooms by Anli Wahl Floral Design framing a custom-printed backdrop. This set the tone for a celebration where every corner was photo-worthy.

Outdoor Lounge & Seating Areas
Under soft white parasols, green bistro tables were styled with petite floral arrangements, creating a relaxed yet refined space for guests to gather.

The Long Table Experience
A rustic wooden table dressed with crystal glassware, fresh florals, and layered tableware became the heart of the celebration. Here, guests lingered over brunch, laughter, and heartfelt conversation.

Indulgent Food & Drink Stations
From B’s bespoke Ice Cream Station serving vanilla and strawberry soft-serve, to the Flossy & Frosé Bar where candy floss cocktails shimmered in the sun, every station was designed to delight. Tiers of cupcakes, dainty pastries, and bubbly completed the indulgent spread.

A Playful Kids’ Area
Even the youngest guests had their own luxury space, a white bouncy castle, daisy-themed table settings, and whimsical floral accents made it a celebration for all ages.
