Zion’s safari-themed birthday party took place at one of our favourite Cape Town inner city venues – Rooftop on Bree, where we transformed the urban rooftop into a modern jungle celebration designed to feel playful yet refined.

The design approach focused on a contemporary safari aesthetic, steering away from traditional bold prints and instead embracing a warm, neutral palette of sand, caramel, soft whites, and natural textures. Subtle animal motifs, sculptural balloon installations, and curated safari details created a cohesive look that felt elevated and age-appropriate.

Rooftop on Bree’s open layout allowed for an easy, flowing guest experience, with clearly defined areas for play, celebration, and relaxed socialising. Custom signage and a statement backdrop anchored the space, while thoughtfully styled tables and décor elements enhanced the venue without overpowering it.

Interactive moments and personalised details were layered throughout the party, ensuring young guests were engaged while maintaining a calm, considered atmosphere. Every element from stationery to styling was intentionally designed to align with the overall look and feel.
