First Birthday in Constantia

A first birthday is always such a sweet milestone to celebrate, and Awele’s special day, hosted in Constantia, was exactly that. Soft, playful, and filled with the cutest racing-inspired details.

His parents wanted something fun but still beautifully styled, so we created a “Fast One” theme with our signature Boutique Petit twist: gentle colours, modern touches, and thoughtful moments that made the day feel personal and memorable.

A Soft and Modern Racing Theme

Instead of your typical bold racing colours, we kept things light with powder blues, whites, and soft neutrals. It made the whole setup feel fresh, airy, and perfect for a one-year-old.

We designed all the custom stationery for the day, from the welcome board to the tiny themed signs and race-number details. Everything tied together to create a clean, cohesive look while still keeping it fun for the little ones.

Playtime for the Little Racers

The kids’ zone was definitely the heart of the party and consisted of: 

• A soft-play area in coordinating colours
• Jumping Castle and Bubble House
• Activity Station & Sensory Play
• Fuel Up Station, consisting of the most delicious candies

It was all designed to be safe, cute, and totally on-theme, and Awele absolutely loved it!

A Perfect Constantia Backdrop

The beautiful Constantia garden added such a relaxed feel to the day. With umbrellas, greenery, and plenty of space to play, it created the perfect setting for family and friends to celebrate together.

Sweet Treats and Final Touches

The dessert table brought the whole theme together, think soft blue cakes, tiny racing details, and treats that looked almost too pretty to eat. Guests also went home with the most thoughtful themed favours, each one tied back to Awele’s “Fast One” moment.
