When our client asked us to create a Peaky Blinders-inspired 40th birthday celebration, we knew it had to feel less like a themed party and more like stepping into the world of 1920s Birmingham with a refined Cape Winelands twist.

Hosted at the beautiful La Motte Wine Estate, the evening combined timeless elegance with rich masculine styling. Guests embraced the dress code in tailored suits, tweed, vintage hats and glamorous faux furs, while the venue was transformed with layered candlelight, deep burgundy florals, antique-inspired décor, and bespoke stationery inspired by the iconic television series.

Every detail was carefully curated, from the custom “By Order of the Peaky Blinders” welcome signage and place settings to the vintage lounge styling, live jazz entertainment, and beautifully styled dessert display. The warm interiors of La Motte created the perfect backdrop for an intimate evening of exceptional food, fine wine, and unforgettable celebration.
