We had so much fun working with Kayur’s mom with the planning of his long-awaited birthday celebration! It’s not often we get to work on boy party themes (believe it or not, we don’t specialise in the colour PINK! haha) so we couldn’t wait to get started on his wild animal themed party hosted on a very sunny day at Clara Anna Fontein Estate in Durbanville, in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town.
All of his classmates were invited to have a WILD time and family flew into Cape Town to celebrate this adorable five-year-olds birthday party.
The scene was set using a neutral colour palette with the addition of olive green tones, our famous white jumping castle was a hit, an adopt a wild animal station acted as guest party favours, and a themed kids party table that included a painting activity for each little guest, as well as personalised enamel cups to take home as a party souvenir. Not to forget about the parents, who were kept happy and hydrated with a selection of coffee and teas on demand from the Bottoms Up coffee TukTuk.
Emmes Confectionery created a gorgeous (and delicious) birthday cake and themed treats for the celebration, consisting of a selection of cupcakes, cake pops, donuts, and iced biscuits that were devoured by the guests!
